Hello All put this date into your diary Sunday 25th June 2023

The Chamber of Trade are excited to tell you that after the success of the Transport Festival last year, we have been given permission to hold a bigger and better one this year so put the date into your diary and join us in the centre of town and at Blue Diamond Garden Centre, with Nailsworth CAN celebrating Vintage and Electric Vehicles, Motor Cycles and bikes!! We will have available a Park & Ride service running from the Barn Site, Avening Rd, Nailsworth, Stroud GL6 0BS, and a shuttle bus running from P & R carpark up to the top of Spring Hill and down through out the event.

A temporary Bus Stop will be set up at the bottom of Spring Hill by Stagecoach throughout the event the bus station will be closed on the 25th June.

The Transport Festival will be running from 10.30am until 8.00pm

Our Festival of Transport through the Ages will show the Community a large range of vehicles from Classic cars, bikes through to Electric bikes and cars.

Nailsworth CAN will be joining us to educate our friends and family and the wider community, of how changing the way we get around can not only reduce our carbon footprint but improve the health and wellbeing of everyone. Nailsworth CAN will have a selection of educational stalls showing renewable energy such as solar, wind and hydropower, how it can be used to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, and while big regional and national projects are needed to displace coal and gas, we can also make a difference with smaller projects at the community or domestic scale.

Edmo will be joining us and they will show you that they provide their customers with adventure, freedom and the ability to go where ever they want. If you’re thinking about buying an electric bike, they will talk you through all the reasons why a  e-bike is your best option.. Increasing the use of cycling and improving our public transport we as a community can help reduce our reliance on cars, and our children’s future. If you are looking to buy a electric bike you will be given a chance to test ride the bike.

(But we must not forget the big selection of  Vintage vehicles & bikes of the past, there will always be a special place for these vehicles, that provoke memories of the past and bring young and old much joy).

There will be a market  held in the Bus Station through out the event serving locally sourced food & drink and many beautiful hand made gifts for your loved ones, and much more.

Children love surprise’s there will be Face painting for the little ones, but your have to come to the Festival to find out what else there is.

We must not forget the amazing entertainment which will be going on throughout the day, music, dancing for everyone to enjoy.

Don’t forget that while you are in our lovely little town, wander around, many of the shops they are going to be open to join in with all the fun and to greet you all with open arms.
