Transport Festival Park & Ride Sunday 25th June 2023

We are running the Transport Festival on Sunday 25th June 2023 and the centre of Nailsworth Old Market Road will be closed from 9.00am until 5.30pm the road closure will terminate just before the Co-Op car park allow residents to still have somewhere to park during the event, no one will be allowed to leave via the Bus Station exit resident will have to turn around and leave via the Co-Op entrance to ensure the safety of our participants.
The alternative route to drive around the town will be A46 Fountain Street / Market Street / Cossack Square / Chestnut Hill/ Spring Hill.
The Bust Station will be closed throughout the day from 6.30am until 11.00pm and a temporary bus stop will be put up on Spring Hill by Stage Coach for normal bus services on the Sunday.
All car parks in Nailsworth will be closed to allow VINTAGE AND ELECTRIC vehicles to park up for the show.
We have organised a Park & Ride service from the Avening Road Barn site opposite Blue Diamond, and a free shuttle bus that will run throughout the day from the Avening road and up Springhill turning at Forest Green Football club roundabout and back down dropping of passengers at the entrance of Old Market Road. THIS SERVICE STARTS FROM THE AVENING ROAD AT 10.00AM
The Park and Ride starts at 10.00am and the last shuttle bus from town will be at 8.15pm.
We are inviting everyone into the town for a fun filled day with music, food drink, dancing, children’s activities and to show case Vintage and Electric vehicles throughout the day.
There will be a prize for the best dressed Vintage participant at the end of the day.
