Lots of our wonderful Nailsworth shops have had to close temporarily; but the good news is that many are selling online or running new takeaway services.
They have worked tirelessly to continue to provide us with essentials. We must remember to support them now – and in the months to come.
Here’s a list of some local shops and restaurants still providing a service during this difficult time.

Bruton’s are open from 9.00am – 1.00pm to take your phone orders for collection and we’ve just taken a large delivery of vegetable seeds!
We also have a limited number of Dettol antibacterial wipes and hand soap (1 per person) as well as disinfectant, logs, kindling, fire-lighters, compost, salt and coal.
Amalfi Restaurant & Pizzeria

Amalfi, on Market Street, gives free pizza and pasta to police and NHS staff.
We are also offering free bread for anyone who is vulnerable and struggling financially.
Home delivery is available to customers in Stroud District.
And customers who collect take-away meals from the restaurant will receive a 25 per cent discount on their order.
In order to try to keep at a safe distance we are suggesting that, at collection, customers can pull up outside and call us; we will be happy to bring orders outside to them.
For those who are stuck and cannot get out and need food delivering, we will be happy to deliver when possible.
Our whole menu is available on our website and all dishes are available to take away.

Social distancing: Our priority is ensuring we can safely supply the vital medications our customers need, and social distancing is policy to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Customers will need to stand two metres apart in-store and whilst queuing; we will also only be able to have two customers in-store at any one time.
To help protect you and our colleagues, we are encouraging contactless payment in-store. Please use this payment option when you can.
We’d like to thank all our customers for their patience during this very busy and difficult time.
Stores open at 10 am, and close for the last hour of the day, which is typically between 5 pm-6 pm; however, stores with late opening will differ. These changes are to enable pharmacy teams to prepare prescriptions. To enable the healthcare teams to have a scheduled break, all stores will also close for a lunch break, typically between 1 pm and 2 pm.
