Nailsworth Chamber Craft Hub

If you were wondering what our Nailsworth Scrubs for Heroes volunteers were doing now that we have met our PPE targets.

Well we have now become a Craft Hub and the team has been busy making bunting and table clothes for the Nailsworth Market.

But after having a chat with the team we have also decided to make Christmas stockings and we have many more ideas in the pipeline.

We plan to sell these talented teams Christmas stockings and crafts and the money we raise we are going to donate to Emmaus.

The reason we chose to raise money for Emmaus was because they supported us with large quantity’s of new fabric while we were making Scrubs for our nurses and care-workers during the pandemic.

The Nailsworth Chamber of Trade would also like to thank everyone that donated fabric and money so that we were able to make a difference within the community during these trying times.

Working together to end homelessness

Emmaus supports people to work their way out of homelessness, providing meaningful work, training, support and a stable home for as long as someone needs it.

The first Emmaus opened in 1992 and there are now 29 communities.

Emmaus supports more than 800 formerly homeless people.

And provide them with support, a home for as long as they need it and meaningful work and training.

To work together to overcome homelessness and social exclusion while using there voice to achieve social change.
