The Nailsworth Chamber of Trade & Commerce are excited to confirm.
We are holding in Nailsworth Bus Station a Community Christmas Market on Friday 10th of December from 2.30pm-9pm
The Chamber will transform the Bus Station with over 50 market stalls and decorate with festive greenery and twinkling, colourful lights.
We will be offering a festive shopping experience with a variety of gifts on offer, including jewellery, toys, sweets, pottery, Christmas cards, decorations and much more.
So come into town for Christmas present inspiration to find the perfect Christmas gifts for loved ones – and enjoy plenty of street food, twinkles, and entertainment throughout the day. You will find much more than presents and stocking fillers at this magical event in Nailsworth! There’s truly something for everyone.
For those of you who enjoy a range of seasonal food and drink, there will be beer, mince pies, cakes, sweets, roasted chestnuts, street food and more.
The must-have Christmas drink must be mulled wine, enjoyed by our ancestors since Ancient Roman times – red wine heated and sweetened with nutmeg, cinnamon, and spices, with a touch of various citrus flavours.
Not only is it great to drink, but it will keep your hands warm.
We will have Christmas Carols and festive entertainment throughout the event. We have also invited a very special person to attend… I think he said his name was SANTA! His friends, the Elves, will be bringing a special letterbox for all children to post their Christmas letters to him. We also have Princess Elsa from Frozen coming to visit Mrs Claus and she has promised to sing to all the children while she’s here.
It has been a very difficult time for all over the past two years, so come into the town in a safe environment, meet the shopkeepers and market traders, get chatting with the locals, and kick off the Christmas season with friends and family.
We want to bring festive cheer to Nailsworth because it is a fantastic place to tour and browse for trinkets. So come and enjoy an evening in town with friends and family, eat great food, and get into the Christmas spirit on the 10th of December 2021.
Nothing puts us in a good mood quite like Christmas – the pretty lights, delicious smells and festive tunes are just the things we need to get us through the cold, dark days of winter!
